It’s only 26 days until Signals 19! We’ve already told you about some of the talented speakers who will be joining us, and today we’ve got more keynote speakers to share — including an award-winning Paralympian and an analyst deeply invested in the loyalty field. We can’t wait to hear their insights and stories.
Competing at an elite world-class level is no small feat for an athlete, but imagine doing it with two prosthetic legs. Since losing both of her legs at the age of 19, Amy Purdy has found ways to not only partake but excel in the sport she loves. She competed in the 2014 Paralympics, receiving a bronze medal in snowboarding, and is a three-time winner of the World Cup for para-snowboarding.
Off the slopes, Purdy has spun her way through Dancing with the Stars and danced alongside Madonna in a music video. She also competed in the Amazing Race, traveling across the world with her partner and competing against 11 other teams. In 2014, she released her memoir, On My Own Two Feet, and joined Oprah on her Life You Want tour, speaking to over 15,000 people. Her inspirational TedxOrange Coast talk, "Living Beyond Limits," has been viewed over a million times.
She also knows how important it is to share her experience with those who also have disabilities. Purdy is the co-founder of Adaptive Action Sports, an organization that helps kids, young adults, and veterans with disabilities get into skateboarding, snowboarding, and other action sports. Her talk will close out Signals on a high note, and no doubt inspire us all to rethink our abilities and what we can achieve.
If there was ever an expert on loyalty in the industry, it would be Emily Collins, a principal analyst at Forrester Research. Collins has been at Forrester for over a decade and has spent much of her time focused on researching and sharing her findings on customer loyalty trends, technologies, services, and analytics. At Signals, you will hear about how analysts use collected data to measure how successful brands are in their loyalty efforts and learn what it takes to create a true and lasting emotional connection with your customers.
We’ll make sure you start Signals 19 off right with our Wednesday evening welcome reception where you can grab a drink and chat with fellow attendees. The Cheetah Digital team will be on-site to direct you and answer any questions. And, we’re keeping it mum for now, but we’ve got great entertainment lined up for our Thursday night party.
