At an event like Signals 19, things happen so fast that remembering them can be like trying to single out a frame from a sped-up film. Fortunately for us, Signals had so many impactful moments that they couldn’t help but leave an imprint on us. Like Amy Purdy testifying to just how much determination and a creative mindset can change your life. Or watching how a contribution to a local initiative can impact the lives of 30 people, maybe even more. Even feeling excitement at the release of innovative, game-changing technology made a mark.
To capture these memories even further, we asked attendees to share their favorite moments from Signals 19.
Networking and Hearing Brand Success Stories
My favorite signals moment was the happy hour, where I had numerous clients come up to me and tell me how eager they were to try out all the features we showed. The excitement was palpable, and the customers I spoke to really felt that the products we delivered will help them grow their programs.— Alessandra Jacques, Principal Product Manager – Messaging

Soaking Up the Inspiration
I knew I was going to learn a lot at Signals 19, but I had no idea how much Amy Purdy’s keynote speech would impact me. Her resilience and determination to achieve her dreams — as well as her ever-present fear of failure — was something the entire audience could all relate to on a deep, emotional level. She explained how she deliberately chooses language that helps speak her aspirations into reality, and genuinely set the stage for how I will be approaching and accomplishing my goals over the next year.

Marketers already have the tools they need to treat different customers differently but they have to have the genuine desire to do so. My takeaway from listening to @rontite and @ThisIsSethsBlog at #Signals19.

My favorite moment was hearing Amy Purdy’s keynote to close the event. It is such an inspirational story, and she shares it in a way that feels so real and down to earth. It was a great send off to energize us to go back to our real lives after the event.

Giving Gifts and Giving Back
Being on stage with representatives from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago and Codeverse to launch our partnership was the highlight of Signals 19 for me. The three Chicago organizations are introducing a six-month program to teach coding to 30 “Littles” and “Bigs.” The experience will strengthen these mentor relationships, provide new skills to all involved and help us empower the next generation of data-driven marketers.
— Lara Compton, Senior Director, Marketing
There were so many great moments for me at Signals, but it was a highlight to see Cheetah Digital by Marigold giving back to the community. I also loved all the small branding touches like the swag, especially the backpack. It was super handy during the conference and something I can use again and again.

The Event Experience
There were two highlights of Signals for me. The first was the keynotes. I really enjoyed hearing Andrew Davis and Amy Purdy speak. I took so much away from both of them. My other favorite moment was seeing how people engaged with all of our graphics. I loved watching people interact with the photo booth as well as the graphics in the bathroom. It was fun to see the event come to life.

Well, what do we have here?! An enterprise software company with a clear vision and a whole host of innovative product announcements demoed live on stage and available immediately to customers?! Well done to all at @Cheetah_Digital on an awesome #signals19 event! pic.twitter.com/dxB9eGjLRt

I’ve never been to an event like this before, so I really didn’t know what to expect going into Signals. But I was truly blown away by every element — from the gorgeous graphics and animations during the MainStage presentations to the festival-style breakout sessions that allowed everyone to walk around and get a taste of all the presentations. Every session and keynote I got to see was engaging, thoughtful, and interesting — and no two were alike. There was everything from laughter during Hasan Minhaj’s closing keynote to furiously taking notes during Beth’s. Overall, it really was an entertaining, inspiring, and unforgettable event.
— Bryn Smith, Digital Marketing Coordinator
My favorite part of Signals was the positive feedback from clients that they loved the event and how unique and inspiring the experience was.
Signals was everything that we intended it to be – especially when it came to the experience that we created for our clients. The Signals experience was our statement that we are dedicated to helping our clients be the best they can be for their brands, their business, and in their own careers.
— Judd Marcello, EVP Global Marketing
