It’s the holiday season, and Hallmark Channel knows there’s nothing better than hooking yourself up with a ton of snacks and watching back-to-back Christmas films next to a cozy fireplace. To engage viewers and website visitors — and to keep the festive spirit in full swing — Hallmark Channel has teamed up with the coffee brand Folgers to launch an interactive meme generator campaign to support its "Countdown To Christmas."
To start creating their very own holiday-inspired selfie, participants can upload their chosen image directly to the campaign page, where they can be resized to fit the frame. Hallmark Channel viewers can then select their favorite festive frame out of the 13 provided, and add a little extra sparkle by adding some Christmas-themed stickers and filters, whether it be a Christmas stocking, Santa’s hat, or Rudolph's ears.
After submitting their entry, Hallmark Channel can then filter and publish the best submissions to an embedded social wall ready for website visitors to browse and share their creations. To maximize campaign reach, visitors are encouraged to share their favorite entries directly to Pinterest, Twitter, and Facebook.
