Cheetah Digital is overjoyed to share that we received the top score in the “Current Offering” category in The Forrester Wave™: Email Marketing Service Providers, Q1 2022. Forrester evaluated 13 vendors across 24 criteria to help B2C marketers get the most out of their email marketing. We were named a “Strong Performer” in the evaluation and received the highest score possible (5) in seven criteria: dynamic content, privacy, security, distributed business model support, full-service support, globalization, and product vision.
Email is more relevant than ever
Forrester cited that “Sixty-five percent of reference clients we surveyed for this report said that email marketing is somewhat or significantly more important to their companies today than before the COVID-19 pandemic.” Our own commissioned research found that half of the consumers surveyed have made a purchase from an email in the past 12 months, a 9% uplift on the prior year.
According to Forrester’s report, “email excitement can lead to careless correspondence. Surging email volume and data restrictions make preserving email addresses — and using them responsibly to unlock user identity and permission — critical.” While consumers are very interested in receiving emails from trusted brands, they are also willing to unsubscribe if those messages aren’t relevant or properly personalized.
